Situated in one of Australia's best preserved historic towns in North East Victoria, the award winning La Trobe at Beechworth offers a unique and idyllic setting for a short break. We are easily accessed by car, coach or rail. La Trobe at Beechworth is set in 11 hectares of heritage gardens, close to the historic town of Beechworth, the Victorian Alps, wineries, golf courses, fishing, the Rail Trail,etc.

We have 2 hotel buildings on site and self catering lodges and cottages are scattered over our scenic premises. The main hotel building is the Kerferd Centre and contains standard room types and the King Suites. The Kerferd Centre is a modern style building with facilities including an outdoor pool, sauna, gymnasium and business centre. The secondary hotel building is the Linaker Hotel, which contains deluxe rooms and Suites. The Linaker Hotel is a fully refurbished three story art-deco building.

Sambell's Bar & Bistro is located within the Kerferd Centre and is open to the public for lunch (Thursday - Sunday) and dinner (7 nights) featuring modern Australian cuisine. We cater for groups, conventions, conferences, functions, etc.
