Mvuu Camp & Lodge, operated by Central African Wilderness Safaris, introduced key upgrades in 2024 to enhance guest experiences.
The underground wildlife hide, a major attraction for photographers, was fully reconstructed, offering superior game-viewing opportunities.
Additionally, the lodge acquired two new safari vehicles and launched panoramic-view photographic boats for immersive wildlife exploration.
Sustainability has been central to Mvuu’s improvements, with a complete transition to solar power, reducing its environmental footprint.

In 2025, Kuthengo will expand its capacity with an additional guest tent, bringing the total to five for a more intimate yet spacious stay.
A curated solo travellers’ departure trip, launching in June 2025, will provide independent travellers with a structured, immersive safari experience in Malawi.
African Parks, which manages Liwonde National Park in partnership with Malawi’s Department of National Parks and Wildlife, has overseen critical accommodation upgrades.
Chinguni House, a self-catering lodge overlooking the Shire River, underwent a full renovation, offering five luxury bedrooms for up to ten guests.
The facility now includes an in-house chef service, providing a high-end yet homely stay.
Following the Chinguni upgrades, renovations are underway at Chimwala Bush Camp’s safari tents.
Expected to be completed by June 2025, the refreshed camp will offer enhanced accommodations while maintaining its commitment to sustainability and eco-tourism.
